Where in TEXAS are the Herndons?

Whew, folks it is still hot!  No, hot don't really get to the root of all this, we Texans have been living on the surface of the sun this season, no relief in sight.

But, I digress from the reason for this post...

A lot of you have been worried about us and for that we are really, very sorry.  We've been enjoying our new life, as well as our new lifestyle.  With the move into full-time free-lancing, as well as full-time book promotion, we are about to launch both sites: feathermaye.com and sbondherndon.com into a full-time Travel Blog, with detailed updates on all the great places we go.

Of course, you all know me...I will pull into the place, with the hand-painted sign proclaiming the 'World's Largest (insert about anything here, especially animals with scales that give me the creeps) just to see it.  Like Jimmy Stewart in the movie 'How The West Was Won', I just have this urge to go look at the dang varmint.

Anyhow, here over the next few days, if it even takes that long, I'll We'll be posting various little clues and hints about where, exactly we are...

(all of you who already know where we are will be considered ineligible)

Once someone guesses this local, the posts following will reveal more and more about this wonderful dreamland that we've stumbled across been urged to come and see for ourselves...

The standard comment that we kept hearing, the one thing that got us off our butts and headed this a-way, was the phrase: "Y'all are just NOT GONNA BELIEVE IT!"

O-M-G!!  They were RIGHT!

MORE COMING SOON, Y'all start guessing.  Feathermaye will announce the prize in short order...

Keeping our eyes ever on the horizon line...
