Crazy shots we took on the Island or: eerie ghost orbs and spectors on the Seawall

And, while we were in Galveston

Check out some of the cool shots Feathermaye took the night Tropical Storm Lee was poised to push up into Louisiana.  Surf was up wicked-fierce, waves crashed the walls, and we got some surprising images that required a double take...
Weird orbs, ghost coming off the Seawall, al a Tormenta, or:  Spray on  Feathermaye's lens?

Strange, spooky specters moving at the base of the Seawall--Yikes, just like in  Tormenta!  or:  those two guys over there were really smoking it up, Holmes...

Now, these, these are real orbs, right?  No, Feathermaye was disgusted  by now that  the spray  was  covering her lens  faster than she could effectively clean it.  Sure looks cool, though.

Well, we didn't catch any ghosts this time out, but we had a blast.  I still think there are some pretty hot spots on the Island for the ghost hunters among our readers.  The one up in the Army/Navy Store sure gets my vote as one such location.  Not to mention the "Face on the Wall" that I used in the book as well, just slanted it over to Donovan Dawes house, but the real one is spooky, even if it's on the concrete wall of UTMB.

We'll save that for the next Galveston Blog...
